Letter to the Editor: Defense of One Wounded Artist Child

Dear Editor,

I am a talented actor because I act all the time. The world is a stage to which we return as ash, made from God’s dust. I am as malleable as God’s vision, which is infinite. All my actions are sacrifices to Hir, and even when I feel bad about “myself” I know that that too is a deluded view. I am broad. I contain multitudes. Thousands of personalities brew beneath my visage, ready to be yoked and prodded. I know that I will create, through an arc or under a tree, sitting on a  cushion, at a public theatre, or on the screen, with a reed in my mouth, or a string beneath my finger, a staff at my side, a mane on my back. I am not interested in personal gain, but am solely working out my Karma in this lifetime. And that is the Dance! Did I mention that I happen to be a great dancer?

Sincerely,

Wounded Artist Child.
